My life has always been surrounded by animals, but cats, in all their mysterious and enchanting ways, hold a special place in my heart.
My journey into animal care began in the vibrant, often challenging world of animal rescue. It's been a path filled with incredible experiences - from the tender task of medicating animals in need, assessing their unique behaviors, to the joys and sleepless nights of hand-rearing tiny kittens. Perhaps most rewarding of all has been the chance to help feral kittens learn to trust and love, transforming their fear into curiosity and affection.
Education has been a cornerstone of my ability to provide the best care possible. I've delved deep into the world of feline behavior and welfare through the City and Guilds Battersea Academy, learning the subtle language of cats and how to enrich their lives. My knowledge is continuously expanding, thanks to Principles of Animal First Aid courses with the College of Animal Welfare and CPD courses with the International Society of Feline Medicine and International Cat Care. These experiences have not only sharpened my skills but also fueled my passion for animal welfare.
At home, my life is a beautiful chaos filled with the pitter-patter of paws - I have owned all personalities, from the high-spirited Bengals to the companionship of semi-feral cats. Each one has taught me more about patience, love, and the unspoken bond between humans and animals.
